Childhood ambition: I really wanted to be a veterinarian. Or a cookie baker... not cakes, pastries, brownies or pies. Just cookies.

First job: I worked the register at a little breakfast restaurant in San Diego. It didn't last long. I had bigger dreams - Arby's!

Why advertising: I thought, and still do believe, that no matter what aspect of marketing I pursued it allowed me to be creative on some level. I like that. I think marketing, specifically advertising, gives me the opportunity to constantly explore new ideas and not be laughed at. I like that, too.

What gets you out of bed every morning: The possibilities. And coffee.

Indulgence: Travel. Those who know me well will say Taco Bell.

What year do you think robots will inherit the Earth: Hopefully, after I am gone.

Self-proclaimed chef-in-training, traveler to far-away places, can still do a cartwheel if she needs to

Certainly the cartwheels are an awesome sight, but what you'll find far more impressive is Alicia's ability to juggle - fluctuating schedules, continually changing client workflow, production estimates, and vendors, all while working closely with accounts, media and creative to coordinate all aspects of print, digital and broadcast production. Most of our clients have Alicia on speed dial as she is a direct connection to every part of the agency and every project going through the agency. As if she's not juggling enough, Alicia is also our web guru and was a Session Speaker at the 2009 SHSMD Annual Meeting presenting "Going Ga-Ga for Google." After her amazing presentation we understand the audience was doing cartwheels, or so we were told.
